Few bands on their 23rd lap around the scene could claim to be in “just getting started” mode as much as punk stalwarts Silverstein.
The release of their tenth studio album, Misery Made Me, finds the group spring boarding off the heights they’ve reached over the past handful of years; their latest album (2020’s A Beautiful Place To Drown) adding 80 Million streams to a mind-numbing career total of 500 Million.
Inspired by the past two years, Misery Made Me is a depiction of Silverstein - and world at large’s - collective turmoil, frustration, and anxiety.

Silverstein’s second album, Discovering The Waterfront, features singles “Smile In Your Sleep” and their biggest hit to date, “My Heroine.” The Top 40 Billboard 200 Album was originally released in 2005, and built off their explosive debut and added elements of punk rock. The fast-paced and hook-filled album saw the band achieve new levels of success, which cemented the band's position as leaders of the post hardcore/emo scene.
The reissue can be found on classic black vinyl, while select retailers will offer the LP in a variety of limited-edition colors including brown (via Urban Outfitters), green (via Revolver), green and brown marble (via Craft Recordings), and blue marble (via the band’s official store). Hope there will be come back to your roots not next modern generic rock. Still believe in that, in you. Anyway in the end do what you want, what you feel it's yours band. At least I can still rock to Discovering the Waterfront or Shipwreck in the Sand albums. And I am so thankful to You for this :).
